The mysterious Argentinian producer known only as NGLY returns to Berlin to support his most recent release ("Psychosis" EP) on Brooklyn's L.I.E.S. In addition to his activities as NGLY, his past collaborators include Patricia (Opal Tapes), Florian Kupfer (L.I.E.S., Russian Torrent Versions) and DJ Slugbug (L.I.E.S., Contort Yourself). His live performances have been known to be occultish happenings, marrying the buoyancy of house with gothic atmospheres.
GRAMMAR OF MOVEMENT has recently released his debut EP on London's purveyor's of abstract, heavy techno/house, Lobster Theremin.
Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist SILVIA KASTEL (also known as one half of Control Unit), has a predilection for the sounds of the UK’s first industrial wave. Her confrontational yet sensual work incorporates voice, rhythm, synths, tape echo and dub influences. Following a series of 7″ and cassette offerings (including on her own Ultramarine Records imprint and Berlin's Noisekölln Tapes), she is currently at work on her debut LP, due to be released through Blackest Ever Black in the near future.
